How — Writer, Reader, Wannabe — Both. What are you going to do?
To write or not to write that is the first question. Only you can answer.
To write about or not to write about that is another Question. What do you know?
To write this way or that way is an opinion. What you like to read will guide you in what writing style you take. Why write something you don’t like to read?
How you talk is how you write whether it is written perfectly or not.
To know how to write correctly — that is an education. We call this grammar and form.
To write well implies knowledge of how to speak, yet “Language Slang” is best understood if you live, and speak among it at its social level in place and time.
To know what to write is never to have a white blank page staring at you. Unless you have the emptiest in your soul to write at all.
Because if you can think it you can write it even if it makes no sense but to only you.
For me, I had no idea that I would write this. It just seemed the right thing to do. To sit down at this page. To write from the gut.
I will tell you that before I wrote this piece I read some stories and some articles.
